Very Rev. Fr.David A.Cockson, M.Div., M.S.W., NACC, EOKHSJPastorI was appointed to be Pastor of St. Ignatius Martyr by Archbishop Joseph E.Kurtz, D.D. on June 22, 2016. In my free time, I enjoy laughter with friends; walking; going to art galleries and museums; learning daily factoids, about all things Kentucky; reading spiritual/psychological books; and, exploring the richness that Eastern Orthodox and Catholic spirituality affords me as an opportunity to deepen my spiritual life. It is my hope that in 2017 to begin offering “healing services” periodically at St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church. On my personal “bucket list,” is to travel to Rome and also Europe, in order to make pilgrimages to the many holy sites of Christendom. I would also hope to travel to the Holy Land one day.
