Welcome to the St. Ignatius Martyr Parish Website! We are a vibrant Roman Catholic Parish in the Archdiocese of Louisville Kentucky. In a very visible way, we represent the Universal Catholic Church, as a beautiful blend many races and nationalities. This is so fitting as our patron, Saint Ignatius of Antioch, was the first to call the early Christian community the "Catholic Church," meaning that it encompasses everyone from everywhere into the one Body of Christ. Here we celebrate that rich diversity and unity in our worship, community life, and outreach.
Along with our St. Vincent de Paul Society, Helping Hands Food Pantry, Catholic Charities Community Garden, and the Hidden Treasures ministry with our Senior Citizens, our parish is home to Head Start and Early Head Start for low-income families and their pre-school aged children in our Newburg area.
